- We are a small family farm producing grass fed and grass finished beef from American Milking Devon Cattle (AMD). AMD cattle are a heritage breed - the first breed of cattle brought over by the English to our country in 1623. These cattle not only fed our ancestors, but they provided labor and transportation as oxen and also milk for the family. They are a hardy slower growing breed that performs well on grass and other forages. Most importantly though, they taste fantastic, and our customers often comment on the difference. You can shop with us by stopping in our little on farm store or shopping online for either home delivery through UPS or Fedex or choose one of our delivery routes and meet us for curbside pickup in your town.
