- The Miller Ranch bulls all are in the top 1/3 of the Angus breed for Weaning, Yearling Carcass weight and marbling score. Our Ranch is BQA Certified for proper cattle handling and vaccination protocols. Our cattle are raised on high plains pastures in the beautiful foothills of the Beartooth Mountains near Absarokee Montana. They are finished on corn silage ration at a local feedlot. Cattle will be processed at a local state or federally inspected slaughter plant. Minimum 25# orders. Hamburger 88% lean at $4.00/pound. Will sell 1/4,1/2, whole beef for 2.50/pound based off of the hanging weight. Hanging weights are usually around 700-800 lbs for a full beef. Once butchered and packaged you end up with around 400-500 lbs of finished product. You will pay your own butcher fee based on how you want your beef cut up. The butcher fee is around $500 to $700 for a full beef. We will also sell finished and packaged beef in specialty boxes. The boxes will be priced on request.
