Grass fed, grain finished whole, 1/2, and 1/4 side orders. Our beef is raised with no antibiotics and no added hormones. How We Sell We sell our beef by 1/4, 1/2, or whole cow. We love supporting local businesses and use several processors in east and southeast Texas. When your order is ready, you will receive individually vacuum sealed, frozen cuts (steaks, brisket, roasts, etc) and packages of ground beef. For whole and 1/2 orders, you are welcome to customize the types of cuts and thickness of your steaks. For 1/4 orders, you will receive our standard cut package since the processor requires that the entire half be cut the same. You will get the following quantity of packaged beef depending on the size of your order: 350-400 lbs for whole orders 175-200 lbs for 1/2 orders 85-100 lbs for 1/4 orders Price We charge by the hanging weight of the cow. The hanging weight is determined after initial preparation by the processor and is typically 550-650 lbs for a whole order. Our prices include all processing fees. We charge: -$3.75 lb for whole orders ($2,100-$2,500) -$3.75 lb for 1/2 orders ($1,050-$1,250) -$3.95 lb for 1/4 orders ($550-$650) -All orders come with a variety of steaks, roasts, cutlets, ground beef, and stew meat. 1/2 and whole orders can also include brisket and ribs. -All orders are dry aged for 14 days. -Ground beef is estimated at 85/15. -Specific cut information is provided based on the processor and package size. Our whole and half orders can be customized, and we will walk you through the selection process. Our 1/4 orders are standard and vary slightly depending on the processor used. Specialty items like boudin, tamales, jerky, and marinated fajitas are sometimes available for 1/2 and whole orders, depending on processor availability and for an additional fee.
