- My beef are Black Angus cross. They will be about a year and half old when they are ready this Nov. They are raised on grass and hay until the last 60 days when I start them on 12 pounds of rolled corn and barley per day. I charge $2.50 per pound hanging weight. You pay the Custom Meat facility their processing fees. You may order 1/4, 1/2 or whole beef. I use Rising Star Custom Meats in Caldwell, Idaho. If you take a whole beef I will take it to any Custom Meat facility of your choice with in a 50 mile radius of Parma Idaho. you
