- At Terrace Ridge Farm, we offer bulk beef by the quarter, half, or whole steer. As certified North Carolina meat handlers, we also sell beef in bundles and by the cut. Our beef is raised and finished on pasture, never fed antibiotics, never fed animal byproducts, and never implanted with growth hormones. Most of our steers are supplemented with a local grain mixture to improve flavor, marbling, and tenderness. We do raise 100% grass-fed beef by request. All of our beef is vacuum-packed with a freezer life of more than one year. With a half-steer or more, your beef will be 100% cut to your specifications. For quarter-steer orders, we can still accommodate special requests as long as you communicate them to us as soon as possible.
